Netflix News is a mock digital marketing plan looking to launch a new, 24/7 live news broadcast from Netflix. Outlined below is a basic plan regarding who the audience is, how to reach them and a means of measuring success.

With Netflix News you can stay up to date with accurate, timely news with our 24/7 broadcast. Brought to you by the brightest names in journalism, we’re giving what you need to know, where you want to know it. “I feel it’s my duty as a young person to be well versed in what’s going on, but I don’t have a cable package like my parents. I get all my entertainment from streaming and the internet. I wish there was a way I could get the broadcasts I need, on platforms I already know and love.”Need & Goals: Victoria needs to know what’s going on in the world in order to further her understanding of the pitfalls and successes of society. She also wants to be as well versed in politics and economics as her parents. She is eager to have her peers (15-35) engage with news, while ensuring it’s accurate and unbiased. Challenges: Victoria does not have a extra income to spend on numerous subscriptions to newspapers or cable. She’s a young adult armed to take on the world with her laptop and some powerful ideas. Behaviors: Victoria spends a lot of time watching Netflix. She watches at night before bed, weekend mornings and sometimes even during slow days at work. She also enjoys working out, social media, and cooking. She frequents online shopping platforms such as Forever21, while being very conscious of her environmental impact.Demographics: Victoria is a white woman with a college degree who lives outside Boston, MA. She works as an assistant at a law firm.
